About Nahide Sen

I am an expressionist and a contemporary acrylic artist who is also a Fashion designer and an Interior Decorator. Ever since I was a teenager, art has been my inner piece. I was born and raised in Turkey- Istanbul by a big, loving family that filled my childhood with happiness. I grew up as a positive person, a big dreamer, and an art lover. My oldest sister, an artist herself, strongly influenced me too.

After high school, I pursued acting classes, graduated from the University of Marmara in the Fine Arts/Textile Fashion Design program, and worked for over ten years as a Fashion Designer. In 2006 my Canadian journey started, while my childhood, my family, and a piece of me remained in Turkey; I grew up once more in a new culture while raising my two girls. I love everything here, especially the long white winters. I became a member of KWSA in 2019 and graduated from Interior Decorating Diploma Program at Conestoga College.

After years of my professional career, I found my passion in art. Being an artist has always appealed to me because

I found my identity through art and want to help others who find happiness through my eyes.

My artistic journey is ongoing and constantly evolving. I love being a storyteller through my art.
